Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; 12 December 2024 – The Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), in collaboration with BFM89.9, The Business Station, has launched “Sustainability in Action: Insights from Industry Leaders”, a six-episode podcast series. This initiative showcases the Malaysian palm oil industry’s leadership in sustainable practices and its proactive role in addressing global environmental and social challenges. The series offers a compelling look into the challenges, strategies, and innovations driving the sector’s commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
The podcast series is part of MPOC’s ongoing efforts to promote responsible palm oil production and Malaysia’s dedication to meeting global climate and sustainability goals. By fostering dialogue among industry experts, MPOC underscores the role of sustainable palm oil in achieving food security, environmental protection, and socio-economic resilience. The series shines a spotlight on voices that matter in the sustainability conversation, including corporate sustainability officers and environmental advocates.
