The Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), in collaboration with Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (BMD), will organise the third edition of the East Malaysia Palm Oil Forum (EMPOF 2026) on 19 November 2026 at Sheraton Kuching Hotel, Sarawak.
With East Malaysia accounting for approximately 55% of the nation’s total oil palm planted area, the forum will highlight the region’s strategic importance to the industry. Through expert presentations and panel discussions, EMPOF 2026 will explore key industry developments, emerging opportunities, geopolitical challenges, market trends, the potential impact of El Nino on palm oil production, risk management strategies and the palm and lauric oil price outlook for 2027.
The forum provides a valuable platform for industry stakeholders to exchange insights, strengthen business connections and explore opportunities for collaboration across the palm oil value chain.
